The girls youth program includes grades 1 through 8 and is divided into four groups.
Depending on the number of girls in the program, the groups may be divided into two or three teams. If the groups are divided, girls are assigned randomly to each team with all skill levels on all teams. There are no A/B teams or "elite" teams.
If we do not have enough girls to play a game, teams may combine or "borrow" from other teams. We want to make sure our athletes get to play.
Watch for more U8 program details as they will differ from the other programs.

The Mukwonago Lacrosse Club Youth Program is part of the Milwaukee Area Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA). We play other MAYLA teams from Hartland, Brookfield, Germantown, Kenosha and other cities.
All youth home games are played at Eagle Town Park on County NN between Mukwonago and Eagle. Parents are responsible for transporting their athletes to away games.
Practices usually start in January, with skills-drills sessions in the fall. Games start in early April, depending on weather and facility availability.
Our plan is that youth will have opportunities to play in tournaments - most local (farthest away would be central Wisconsin and northern Illinois). Play dates would include two or three other teams where every team plays each other throughout the day.
Parents need to arrange transportation for their athletes to all games and tournaments.
Practices start with indoor sessions in January. Frequency and dates are determined by facility availability. In March (or when field conditions permit, practices will be twice a week at Eagle Town Park on County NN between Mukwonago and Eagle.
The girls youth uniform includes a reversible sleeveless racerback jersey ($45) and blue kilt ($40).
